Jammu: For the second consecutive time since he was arrested on 17 April this year for allegedly waving Pakistani flags, Separatist leader Masrat Aalam was rearrested, after he was released after Jammu and Kashmir High Court quashed his detention under draconian Public Safety Act (PSA).
Family members of the caged leader said that Masrat Aalam was rearrested outside Kot Bhalwal Jail Jammu during late hours on Tuesday.
Jammu Kashmir High Court led by Justice M.H. Attar had quashed the detention of Aalam. During the last 8 month detention, Court twice quashed his detention under contentious PSA and both the time police rearrested him.
Pertinently, Masrat Aalam was arrested by police in April this year for allegedly waving Pakistani flags during a rally led by Syed Ali Geelani.
