Supply Of Gas, Electricity On Top Of Agenda
Srinagar – In its final meeting before the Darbar Move to Jammu, the Jammu and Kashmir state cabinet will meet here on Thursday to discuss various important issues, sources told KNS.
According to sources, the meeting which will begin at 12 noon at the civil secretariat here will discuss measures for ensuring availability of essential commodities in the valley during winter months. Ensuring supply of gas will be on top of the agenda, they said.
The meeting is also expected to give final shape to the setting up of the winter secretariat in the Summer Capital and issue directions to ministers to remain available in the valley from time to time, the sources added.
Necessary measures for ensuring proper supply of electricity in the valley during the winter months are also expected to be discussed in the meeting.
Apart from the efforts for maintenance of law and order, minor reshuffle in police and civil administration is also listed for the agenda, the sources added.
