
Srinagar- J&K para shooter Amir Ahmad Bhat has secured a silver medal in the Mixed 25m Pistol event at the Khelo India Para Games 2025. The event was held at Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range, New Delhi, where Amir showcased his exceptional shooting skills and precision.
Hailing from Damhal, Anantnag, Kashmir, Amir Ahmad Bhat has already created history by becoming the first shooter from the Indian Army to represent India at the Paralympics 2024.
Sarmad Hafeez, IAS, Secretary, Youth Services and Sports, extended his heartfelt congratulations to Amir and his coaches for their dedication and hard work.
Secretary J&K Sports Council, Nuzhat Gul, lauded Amir’s performance, stating, “Our para athletes continue to prove their potential when given the right opportunities. Amir’s success is a testament to the talent emerging from Jammu & Kashmir.”
