SRINAGAR: An educational cum motivational tour for the students of War Widows Children Hostel has been organised under the aegis of Fire & Fury Corps by Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre. The tour of 15 ex students was flagged off by Maj Gen Avinash Singh, Officiating General Officer Commanding, Fire & Fury Corps.
In 12 day tour, children will be visiting various historic, scientific and other tourist places in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Bhuj. This tour will go a long way in bringing to light the developments of the rest of the country and provide better understanding and mutual respect for other cultures and societies while show casing their own.
One lady teacher from school is also accompanying the children on the tour.
Maj Gen Avinash Singh met the children and exhorted them to spread message of peace and enjoy themselves on the tour.
