Srinagar – Minister for Social Welfare, Sakina Itoo said that during last four years of Omer Abdullah regime, special focus has been given on road connectivity, construction of bridges, providing basic health care to the common people.
Addressing a gathering including Panchs and Sarpanchs, she said, The three main sectors Education, Health and construction of roads were prioritized, so that the common people especially living in far flung and remote area would be benefited of the schemes launched by the present government.
Stressing upon Sarpanches and Panchs, Itoo asked them to work with dedication and take Village Committee on board for ensuring over all development of the villages.
She also said that LPG issue is not of any particular area, but the whole country facing this challenge and assured them that she will take up the matter with concerned authorities.
However, she said that she had personally requested to Chief Minister to solve this burning issue and also stressed upon the dealers not to harass the customers for unreasonably.
She said the present Omer led Government is very keen for equitable development of the three regions of the state.
