Srinagar: A 16-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself inside her home at Daksum area of Anantnag district in south Kashmir.
The girl (name withheld) of Desu area of Daksum, hanged herself inside her home today morning, a police official told GNS. The family members of the girl, who was studying in class 1oth, after spotting her hanging inside the room, immediately rushed her to the nearby hospital where doctors declared her brought dead.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case under 174 Cr.Pc and taken up further investigations in this regard, the official added.
