Eidgah Ready For Prayers: Gul
Srinagar – Advisor to Chief Minister, Mubarak Gul today convened a high level meeting and finalized the arrangement for Eid prayers at Idgah ground and other Khankhas of Valley.
Gul took stock of the arrangements being made by the administration for the people of Valley for ensuing Idd-Ul-Zuha. He was informed that the work for leveling of Idgah ground has been completed and ground will be ready for Eid prayers.
He instructed the CA&PD department to constitute flying squads for checking of price list and quality of essential commodities in every town of the Valley. He also instructed the engineers of concerned departments for beautification of road and upgradation of drainage system, besides proper lighting arrangements. He directed to lift the extracted weed from the road immediately without allowing it to pile up for next day on roads.
Gul asked the Traffic Police to maintaining the smooth traffic arrangements in the old city and other khankahas of the city during the Namaz.
Advisor to Chief Minister directed the CA&PD, Sheep Husbandry and Animal Husbandry Department for displaying the rate lists of essential commodities for the information of general public, besides he also directed the Weight & Measures department to conduct market checking during the festival days.
He also directed the PDD, PHE authorities for uninterrupted power and water supply to people during the festival days.
