Srinagar: Kulgam police arrested a drug peddler and recovered forty kilograms of Poppy Straw from his possession.
During Naka checking at Chunadgam in the jurisdiction of Police Station Devsar, Kulgam a Tata mobile vehicle-bearing registration number JK03C-4319 was intercepted. On checking 40 kilograms of poppy straw packed in seven bags was recovered from the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle Abdul Rashid resident of Shamsh, Qazigund was arrested and a case FIR number 71/2015 under section 88/15 NDPS Act was registered against him. (CNS)
