Budgam – The District Development Commissioner, Budgam has directed the district administration to be more proactive in redressing the grievances of the people.
Chairing a public grievances meeting which was also attended by Joint Director Planning, . F.A Yesvi, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Budgam, Qazi Sarwar, Chief Executive Officer, Budgam, . N.A. Dar alongwith other concerned officers at Sanoor Kalipora Budgam today, the District Development Commissioner asked the officers and field agencies to teach out to people at their doorsteps to ensure that they get adequate supply of essential commodities, besides drinking water and power supply. He directed the concerned officers of the CAPD to ensure that consumers to get their ration quota regularly and in time.
He said supply of kerosene oil and cooking gas should be regulated so that people are put to inconvenience.
Earlier, the District Development Commissioner visited Soibug and adjacent areas and took stock of the ongoing development works.
At Sanoor Kalipora, the District Development Commissioner was shown a hand written manuscript of Quran which has been written by a local namely . Ghulam Ahmad Mir, he said was very much impressed by the artistic hand writing and gave him a shawl as a token of honour.
Mirwaiz Central Kashmir, Molvi Latif Shah and a large number of people were also present on the occasion.
