Srinagar- In a battle of two undefeated I-League teams on Monday at TRC Stadium in Srinagar, Real Kashmir FC drew 1-1 with Inter Kashi FC.
Midfielder Ramsanga Tlaichhun opened the scoring in the eighth minute, giving the Snow Leopards hope that they can topple the Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh-based team. The Srinagar club held on to take a 1-0 lead into half time.
The second half saw Inter Kashi pile the pressure on the hosts and their persistence paid off in the 69th minute after a counter saw Spanish striker level the proceedings 1-1 in the 69th minute, much to the dismay of the home crowd.
The two teams remain unbeaten in the 2024-25 I-League after four rounds. Both teams have two wins and two draws for eight points, with Inter Kashi leading the standings via a superior goal difference (5, compared to Real Kashmir’s 3).
Real Kashmir will next play Namdhari FC on December 15 in Ludhiana, Punjab.
