Srinagar- After going unbeaten during the Group Stage round of the 78th Men’s Senior National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy 2024-25, J&K senior men’s team is all set to compete in the prestigious competition’s Final Rounds.
In the draw released on Tuesday, J&K is placed in Group A alongside West Bengal, Services, Manipur, Telangana and Rajasthan. The matches will be played at the Deccan Arena, Hyderabad, Telangana.
J&K will play their first game on December 14 against West Bengal. They take on Services on December 16, Manipur on December 18, Telangana on December 21 and Rajasthan on December 23.
The team, coached by Meharjuddin Waddoo and captained by striker Aakif Reshi, beat Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh during their group stage matches.
