SRINAGAR: Hailing his contribution to Kashmir tourism industry, the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) Monday deeply mourned the demise of Nazir Ahmad Bakhshi.
Bakhshi, who was the president of the KCCI from 1990-92, passed away in Delhi last night.
Special tributes were paid to Mr. Nazir Ahmad Bakhshi by all the colleagues present in the condolence meeting, a statement said.
The outstanding contribution of Bakhshi for safeguarding the interests of Trade, Commerce and Industry and his unparalleled passion for serving the organisation in any capacity was unanimously appreciated by all.
In his death, The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry family has lost a noble and gentle colleague who will be always remembered for his uncompromising principles and selfless contribution to the fraternity of Trade, Commerce, and Industry, the statement added.
We pray to Almighty Allah for making Jannat-ul-Firdous the eternal abode for the departed soul and bestowing courage on the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
