SRINAGAR: The 38th Research Extension and Advisory Committee Meeting of Kashmir and Ladakh Zone (Rabi-2015) was held on Saturday in the Directorate of Extension. The meeting was chaired by Vice-Chancellor SKUAST. The meeting is aimed at ascertaining outcome of results of technologies of the university at the ground level.
While speaking on the occasion, Vice-Chancellor emphasized the need for strong linkage between university and development departments for optimum results. The Vice-Chancellor also exhorted upon extension functionaries of the University for gearing up the efforts in reaching to the farming community. He also advised for large scale demonstration plots and advised Director Extension to hold Field Days/Kisan Melas etc. for popularization of university technologies and varieties.
