KULGAM: Describing that media has pivotal role in reformation and transformation of Society, the Minister of State for PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control, Forests and Animal Husbandry, Abdul Majeed Padder has called for strengthening the bonds of mutual brotherhood, love, compassion and tolerance among the people of the State. He said voluntary social service should be every ones motive so that no one is left helpless.
The Minister said this while addressing Annual Achievement Award 2015 to acknowledge the services of those, who have contributed for the betterment of people and society. The function was organized by a private news agency at Government Higher Secondary School D.H Pora, Noorabad.
On the occasion, Padder distributed awards and appreciation certificates among 42 persons including social workers, government functionaries, members of various NGOs, students, media persons and public representatives, who have performed excellent work for the welfare of society and by helping needy people, besides in reformation of society.
