SRINAGAR: National hand wash day was today conducted across Kashmir to create awareness among t he general pubic regarding the importance of hand wash in daily life.
At Ganderbal, various awareness camps were organised in which school children, Anganwari workers, Panchs, Sarpanchs and others participated. Demonstration of hand washes was also conducted.
In Baramulla, MLA Baramulla Javeed Hassan Beigh, being the chief guest highlighted the need of cleanliness in daily life.
In Pulwama, a programme was organised at Government Degree College Pulwama. Various officials and students spoke on the occasion.
A similar programme was organised at Government Secondary School Balhama. A symposium and road show was also organised by BDO Khanmoh.
