SRINAGAR: A man was arrested for sodomizing an 8-year-old boy in district Pulwama, police said Tuesday.
A lady (name with held) resident of Pulwama reported in Police Station Pulwama that her 8-year-old son had gone to neighbourhood Masjid for learning Quran, the police spokesperson said in a statement. The boy returned home and narrated that one Feroz Malik met him there and forcibly took him in the Hamam of the Masjid where he subjected him to unnatural sex. The said boy confirmed the report, the spokesperson said.
Pulwama police has registered a case FIR number 321/15 in this regard and has arrested the accused, the spokesperson said. The accused happens to be Imam of a Masjid, the police spokesman further said.
