SRINAGAR: Employees of Provident Fund Organization observed pen down strike across the state for the consecutive third day on Saturday.
Shouting slogans in favour of their demands, the protesting employees said that they have been working on their posts from last 25 years and nothing has been done in order to promote the deserving employees to next higher posts lying vacant since long.
In case our genuine demands are not fulfilled till (Monday) 12 Oct 2015, we will be left with no option but to go on indefinite strike in both Divisions of the State, Irshad Ahmad Shah, President, J&K Employees Provident Fund Organization Union stated.
