SRINAGAR: Minister for Social Welfare, Bali Bhagat said representations were received by the Jammu and Kashmir State Commission for Backward Classes from villages Kremshore, Drygam, Shamasabad, Parnewa, Falchil, Kandoora, Danchan and Patharthan for inclusion in RBA category.
He said these villages, however, did not meet the laid down parameters and were not found entitled for inclusion in the list of RBA, as conveyed by the J&K State Commission for Backward classes.
The Minister further said representations in respect of villagers including Sail, Utterpora, Kanigund, Lassipora and Churmujroo are under examination in the Commission.
He said no such representation for inclusion of villagers Zanigam and CC Pora has been received in the State Commission for Backward Classes.
