SRINAGAR: A boy attempted to end his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his home in district Shopian last evening.
A boy (name withheld) resident of Darbagh, Zainpora has consumed some poisonous substance at his home. The boy was immediately rushed to the Sub Distinct Hospital Zainpora, wherefrom he has been referred to SKIMS Soura for further treatment. Shopian police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, man in the border district Kupwara died after he suffered a fall from a tree. Mustaq Ahmad Gojri son of Wali Mohammad resident of Reshi Muqaam Kandi fell from a Deodar tree in the Drugmulla forest area and died on spot. After completion of legal formalities, the body of deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
