SRINAGAR: Army on Tuesday paid tributes to the four slain soldiers who lost their lives in a fierce encounter with the militants in North Kashmirs Kupwara district.
Four slain soldiers from Vilgam based 6 RR camp were identified as Gnr Surendra, Sepoy Surinder Singh, Lance Naik Botta Satyam and Lance Naik Gurdev Singh.
In a statement to a local news agency, CNS, the Army said that the valour and sacrifice of these soldiers were remembered and they were paid a glowing tribute during a ceremony held at Badami Bagh Cantonment.
