SRINAGAR: Minister for Health and Medical Education, ARI & Trainings, Ch. Lal Singh Monday paid a surprise visit to NTPHC Harwan, Srinagar, ordering immediate reshuffle of some of the staff members, whose performance was found not satisfactory.
The Minister along with Director Health Services, Kashmir, Dr Sumeer Mattoo, Mission Director Family Welfare, Dr Baldev, Director, NHM, Dr Mohan Singh, Drug Controller, Kashmir, Nazir Ahmad paid a surprise visit at the NTPHC, Harwan.
The Minister found that most of the doctors and paramedics were without proper hospital dress code. He said disciplinary action would be taken against the doctors and paramedics, who dont follow the guidelines like observing proper dress code while on duty.
The Minister directed the officials that without the opinion of the Consultants, no junior doctor or medical officer should make referrals.
