SRINAGAR: The farmers of Bandipora in north Kashmir Friday alleged that some unknown persons have ruined their harvested crop by setting ablaze their harvest, put up in different locations in paddy fields, last night.
According to the report, the piled up harvest belonging to four different families at Ward No. 4, Bandipora was set on fire by unknown persons.
The famers whose harvest was destroyed include Ghulam Nabi Parra, Mohammad Anwar Mir, Ghulam Rasool Mir and Mohammad Ramzan Mir.
They have appealed the police to nab the culprits and urged government to compensate them for the loss.
