Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Casual and Daily wagers Forum (JKCDF) commenced their indefinite hunger strike at the Pratap Park on Friday.
Hundreds of casual labourers from multiple government departments including PHE, Tourism, Floriculture, , Agriculture, Health and other departments assembled at Pratap Park Srinagar early morning and erected tents there.
Meanwhile, the hunger strike of All Jammu and Kashmir National Youth Corps Association (AJKNYCA) in the same park entered 32nd day on Friday. They have been demanding implementation of a Cabinet meeting decision to engage them in the Education Department.
