During the review meeting of Central Cooperative bank, Anantnag, it was revealed that Non Performing Asset (NPA) has been reduced by Rs. 508.45 lakh which exceeds the target by Rs. 8.45 lakh. The deposit has grown upto 17543.59 lakh.
The bank has issued Rs. 1030.44 lakh as loans under different sectors, out of which Rs. 862.13 lakh has been issued to those pertaining agriculture sector. The bank has issued 13563 Kissan Credit Cards (KCC) for an aggregate amount of Rs. 3633.01 lakh so far.
The bank has also recovered Rs. 939.50 lakh against the overdue loans. Meeting was held here under the chairmanship of General Manager Central Cooperative Bank.
