BANDIPORA: MLA Sonawari Mohammad Akbar Lone convened a meeting at Sumbal Thursday to review the arrangements with regard to Muharram.
Lone asked the concerned officers that rice, sugar, LPG, firewood etc should be provided to people living in Shia dominated villages well in time.
He asked the officers of Rural Development and R&B that necessary repairs of inner roads should be made besides cleanliness at Imambaras and installation of street lights.
He stressed for better arrangements of drinking water, first aid facility and power supply during Muharram days.
