The state authorities are likely to block mobile internet services in the state for 72 hours starting from Eid-ul-Azha morning.
The step according to sources is being taken keeping in view the tense situation arisen due to high court directions to implement beef banning laws.
Sources said that a decision to this effect has been taken during a high level meeting of police and other security agencies.
When contacted a police official told Rising Kashmir that beef ban issue and law and order related to it was discussed in the meeting however a final call is likely on Thursday.
We met and discussed law and order on eve of Eid but no final decision was taken, he said adding we are meeting on Thursday again and decide about everything
