Srinagar – Managing Director, Jammu and Kashmir Horticulture Produce Marketing and Processing Corporation (JKHPMC), Syed Rafiq Ahmad has been nominated for two prestigious awards for his valuable contribution in the economic growth and development of the State.
Syed will be presented with Indian Gandhi Sadbhvana Award on the occasion of 93rd birth anniversary of former Prime Minister late Smt. Indira Gandhi at a National Symposium to be held at New Delhi on November 18, 2012.
This prestigious award is given to the eminent personalities of the country in recognition of their outstanding services, achievements and contributions in different fields to the nation.

Syed by the Integrated Council for Socio-economic progress, a voluntary organization at a seminar to be held at Bangalore on November 25, this yea. This award has been instituted for the people in recognition of their outstanding achievements, excellent performance in the selected activities. Syed Rafiq Ahmad, who is presently holding the post of Managing Director, JKHPMC for the past couple of years has already received seven National Awards, two International Awards for his outstanding contribution to the economic growth of Jammu and Kashmir. He has been instrumental in reviving the sick corporation during his tenure and now the organization has started giving profits. The steps taken by .
