BANDIPORA: Degree College Sumbal organized Saturday an inter-college seminar on the effects of climate change on Agriculture production of Jammu and Kashmir.
A case study of 2014 flood was held under the chairmanship of HOD Economies University of Kashmir at Government Degree College Sumbal today.
Principal Nodal A.S. College was the chief guest while a Principal Degree College Sumbal besides Principals and faculty members from Degree Colleges of Ganderbal, Bandipora, Baramulla, Pampore, Pattan and other colleges attended the seminar. In all, 12 students of different colleges spoke on the topic.
Aadil Farooq from Degree College Pampore bagged the first position while as Rohi Tariq from Degree College Baramulla and Kulsuma Nazir from Degree College Pattan were adjudged 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Later, cash prizes of Rs. 2500, Rs. 1500 and Rs. 1000 were given to the position holders.
