Srinagar: To formally start the recruitment process in the state, the PDP-BJP Government has decided to recruit 4000 youth in police.
In this regard, sources told KNS, an eight-member Central Recruitment Board headed by ADG PHQ L. Mohanti has been constituted, which will start the recruitment process from September 15, 2015.
This recruitment will be transparent and the process of selection would be monitored electronically. So we have decided to call this as Transparent Recruitment Policy, top government sources told KNS.
They said the recruitment of the constables will be monitored electronically and the process of recruitment right from the submission of forms to the conduct both physical and written examination of the candidates would be recorded in video. SSPs of the districts have been directed to act as point-men in their concerned districts for the recruitment, sources said. There will be no human interference in the recruitment process, as everything will be done electronically, added sources.
