SRINAGAR: Refuting the rumours that there will be continuous rainfall in the coming four days, Director Meteorological Department Sonam Lotus Monday said that Kashmir will witness dry weather in coming week.
I dont know who spread these rumours. There will be no continuous rainfall in the coming week. The weather will be dry and there is no need to worry. People can go ahead with their marriage ceremonies, Lotus said.
He said that from September 7 to14 there may be light rain or thunder shower during evening hours for brief duration.
There is no need to worry. In fact we came to know that some rumour mongers had reported on social media network that there will be continuous rainfall from September 7, which is totally baseless, he said and asked people not to give heed to such rumours. (CNS)
