Pulwama: Two Railway police personnel were critically injured after unidentified persons lobbed a grenade towards railway track near Malangpora area of Awantipora town in South Kashmirs Pulwam district on Monday.
Divulging information about the incident, a railway official said that unidentified persons hurled a grenade over railway track in the blast two railway police personnel Rouf Ahmed and Mukhtar Ahmed received injuries who were immediately rushed to nearby hospital in serious condition.
He said that police and Army personnel conducted search operation after the blast. Everything is normal now and train service was not suspended at all, said Railway officer, Aadil Ahmed.
