SRINAGAR: Senior pro-freedom leader and Democratic Freedom Party chairman Shabir Ahmad Shah extended his felicitations on the Defence Day of Pakistan praising its political, military, religious leadership and civil society.
Terming the strong and prosperous Pakistan vital for the establishment of peace in subcontinent Shah said the Islamic Republic as a nuclear power is the backbone of Muslim Ummah.
Shah welcomed Pakistan Army Chief General Raheel Sharrif statement: “General Raheel Sharrif spoke the voice of Kashmiris, he said. We hope Pakistan continues with its stand on Kashmir and highlights the issue at global forums without succumbing to any pressures from India.”
