Ganderbal: In a freak accident, a person was killed Thursday when a tree branch fell on the car he was driving in the central Kashmirs Budgam district, police source said.
The deceased, identified as Bashir Ahmed Lone, a resident of Fatehpora Ganderbal, died on the spot after branch from a Chinar tree fell on his Alto car near Darend area today morning.
The car was also badly damaged in the incident.
