SRINAGAR: Many attendants whose patients are admitted in SKIMS, Soura Monday alleged that the staff in the ward 7A remains absent from duties giving tough time to patients.
Medical and paramedical staffer in ward 7A are never on duty, a delegation said. Even if present, they are usually busy in playing games on electronic gadgets. They dont pay any heed to the patient care.
They said patients who need immediate care or treatment in case of pain or any other health issue have to suffer for hours till the attendants find a staff member. We literally have to beg for help, one of the delegation members said.
They appealed SKIMS higher authorities to personally look into the matter.
