BANDIPORA: A Literary Conference to remember Professor Mohiudin Hajni was held at Higher Secondary School, Hajin. The Conference was organized jointly by Halqa-i-Addab Sonawari, District Information Centre, Bandipore, Cultural Academy, Radio Kashmir and J&K Bank.
The Conference was attended by renowned writers and poets who include Mohammad Zamand Azurda, Dr. Aziz Hajni, Retired Justice Bashir Ahmad Kirmani, Shujaat Bukhari, Mohammad Ahsan Ahsan and others.
On the occasion, papers on the life and literary works of Prof. Mohiudin Hajni were read besides Mehfil-i-Mushaira held in which a number of poets of the Valley participated.
During the Conference, Khilat-i-Hajni was awarded in favour of a writer and poet Ghulam Nabi Atish. Besides this, a literary work Thapp Chham Damnas of Syed Akhtar Mansoor was also released during the literary Conference.
