NEW DELHI: Israeli Navy Chief Vice Admiral Ram Rutberg will visit India on August 24 and meet the Indian military top brass, the defence ministry said on Friday.
“Commander-in-Chief of Israeli Navy Vice Admiral Ram Rutberg to hold talks with Indian military top brass in New Delhi on August 24,” Defence Ministry spokesperson Sitanshu Kar tweeted.
The visit is expected to give a boost to defence ties between the two nations.
On Wednesday, a frontline warship from Indian Navy INS Trikand made a port call at Port of Hafia to stay there for four days during which a series of activities with the Israeli Navy were planned.
