SRINAGAR: The Minister for Education, Naeem Akhter, Wednesday, said no such proposal as building a Sainik Colony was before government as against the BJPs earlier claim that ex-servicemen would be rehabilitated on the Valley.
He said the reports about building of any such colony in Kashmir were absolutely baseless. I dont know any such thing, Akhter said talking to media persons here today. There is no such proposal before the government, he added.
