In the picturesque Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, embodied by the iconic Modi ki Guarantee wali Gadi, has become a symbol of transformative change and inclusive development. Despite navigating through the unforgiving sub-zero temperatures and harsh conditions in the valley, the Yatra continues to receive a resounding welcome, reflecting the commendable enthusiasm of the people in rural areas.
At the heart of this journey is the Viksit Rath, playing a pivotal role in delivering on-the-spot services to the rural communities of Jammu and Kashmir. The Yatra’s main objective revolves around the saturation of government schemes, ensuring that the benefits of these initiatives reach every corner of rural life. Thus far, more than 3.5 million people have actively participated in the Yatra, underscoring the widespread engagement and support for the government’s developmental endeavors.
One of the noteworthy achievements during the Yatra is the successful saturation of the Ayushman Card in more than 3560 Gram Panchayats. The Ayushman Card provides free health insurance coverage up to ₹5 lakh, offering a lifeline to individuals in need of medical treatment. This milestone signifies a crucial step towards ensuring that quality healthcare becomes accessible to all, addressing one of the fundamental needs of rural communities.
In tandem with healthcare achievements, over 3576 Gram Panchayats declared themselves ODF Plus during the Yatra. Achieving Open Defecation Free Plus status is a testament to the success of sanitation initiatives, emphasizing the importance of clean and hygienic living environments in rural areas.
Furthermore, the Yatra has witnessed remarkable progress in the digitization of land records. More than 3568 Gram Panchayats have achieved 100 percent digitization of land records, marking a major milestone in streamlining administrative processes and ensuring transparency in land transactions. This achievement not only facilitates efficient governance but also empowers rural communities by securing their land rights through digitization.
The success of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra lies not only in numbers but in the tangible impact it has on the lives of the people it reaches. By focusing on the saturation of government schemes, the Yatra is fostering a sense of inclusivity and equity, ensuring that the benefits of development are distributed equitably among the diverse communities of Jammu and Kashmir.
In conclusion, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra stands as a beacon of hope and progress in rural Jammu and Kashmir. Beyond the challenges of harsh weather conditions, the Yatra has catalyzed positive changes, ranging from improved healthcare access to advancements in sanitation and digitization. As it continues on its transformative path, the Yatra reaffirms the government’s commitment to inclusive development, leaving an indelible mark on the landscape and lives of the people it serves.
