SRINAGAR, JULY 14: Minister for Health and Medical Education, Choudhary Lal Singh today visited Hazratbal shrine and reviewed the arrangements for the ensuing religious festivals. He issued directions to the officers to ensure adequate medicare facilities in the shrine for the visiting devotees during the auspicious days.
The Minister also paid obeisance at the shrine and prayed for the well being of the people of the State. He also interacted with the management of the shrine and discussed the medical facilities required in the shrine during the festivities.
Earlier, Ch. Lal Singh also paid visit to the Primary Health Centre (PHC) SR Gunj and reviewed its functioning. He inspected medical store and other units of the health institution and issued on-the-spot instructions to the head of the institution to ensure proper sanitation and improve overall functioning. He also directed for maintaining proper inventory of all the articles and records of the hospital in a transparent manner.
