Srinagar: Police have detained a person from Sopore area in north Kashmirs Baramulla district.
Official sources said that Special Operation Group (SOG) of police raided Tarzoo village in Sopore last night and apprehended a person identified as Mohammad Latif son of Ghulam Hassan Bhat of Tarzoo.
The reason behind the arrest of Latif was not immediately known, however, sources admitted that he was arrested on suspected grounds.
The detained person is under questioning, they added. (GNS)
