SRINAGAR- Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar on Thursday was the chief guest at the medal felicitation ceremony of the 29th Junior National Thang-Ta Championship 2023 at Multipurpose Indoor Hall, Polo Ground, here.
This prestigious championship was organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Thang-Ta Association under the auspices of the Thang-Ta Federation of India, with sponsorship from the J&K Sports Council.
Addressing the gathering, Advisor Bhatnagar said that it is remarkable to witness that more than 550 participants are part of this unique championship coming from all parts of our country.
The Advisor praised the efforts of the Sports Council in hosting this remarkable event, recognizing its potential for future excellence. He also congratulated the organizing committee of the J&K Thang-Ta Association for the successful completion of the championship.
During the felicitation ceremony, Haryana was declared overall team champion with Manipur as the 1st runner-up and Jammu and Kashmir as 2nd of the championship.
