Srinagar- A man was attacked and injured on Thursday by a black bear in the Verinag area of South Kashmir Anantnag district.
Ghulam Rasool Rather was walking in his native Zamalgam village of Verinag on Thursday afternoon when a bear appeared there and attacked him, reports said. The villagers rescued Rather and shifted him to Primary Health Centre (PHC) Verinag for treatment.
However, the doctors there referred him to Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag for advanced treatment.
