Srinagar- Police on Saturday recovered the body of an army porter, who went missing on Friday from a forest area in Nowshera area of Rajouri district.
The body of Ashok Kumar of Bhawani village was found in a gorge at Ghai Kote forest area of Nowshera with both hands tied with plastic strips, officials said.
“The body has been taken into possession to carry out medico-legal formalities,” they said.
They added that a FSL team was also called at the spot where senior officers of police were also present. Kumar, who worked as an Army porter went missing on Friday morning after which security forces launched a search operation.
