SRINAGAR, JUNE 17: Minister for R&B, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, on behalf of the Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Syed this afternoon visited the family of deceased constable Aarif Nazir Khan, who was killed yesterday at Bijbehara, and offered condolences to the bereaved family.
Expressing grief and sorrow over the incident, the Minister said that culprits would be nabbed and punished. Describing the incident an act of cowardice, he said Islam does not allow such heinous acts.
Extending sympathies to the bereaved family, the Minister said Chief Minister equally shares the grief. He assured bereaved family of every help from the Government.
Later the Minister offered Fateah and prayed for eternal peace to departed soul.
