ANANTNAG:The arrangements for ensuing holy month of Ramzan were reviewed today in a meeting chaired by District Development Commissioner Anantnag Mr. Bashir Ahmad Khan.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Sub Divisional Magistrates, Superintending Engineers of R&B, PDD & I&FC, Assistant Director CA&PD, ARTO, Additional Superintendent of Police, Executive officers of all Municipalities, Tehsildars and other concerned officers.
The preparations made for ensuring the uninterrupted power and water supply besides better road connectivity were reviewed during the meeting.
Concerned officers were also instructed to install the lights at Bijbehara & Qazigund immediately.
Sub Divisional Magistrates and Tehsildars were instructed to closely monitor the availability of essential commodities beside eatables and to personally monitor the market checking.
