SRINAGAR: Hurriyat Conference led by Mirwaiz Umer Farooq Saturday expelled Agha Syed Hassan al-Safvi, President of Anjuman-e-Sharai Shiayan from the conglomerate terming his recent utterances as unfortunate and divisive.
The announcement of Aghas expulsion was made after a joint meeting of Hurriyat Executive Council, General Counsel and working Committee Members at Nigeen.
According to a Hurriyat spokesmab, during the meeting heads and representatives of all Hurriyat constituents participated. The participants took a detailed view of the current political developments and challenges facing the Hurriyat Conference.
