SRINAGAR: Jamiat Ahlihadees on Friday criticized the international community over the oppression unleashed against Rohengia muslims in Myanmar.
Our disunity and double speak has brought us to the brink of disaster, general secretary of Jamiat Ahlihadees Jammu Kashmir, doctor Abdul Lateef Alkindi said.
While terming the atrocities being committed upon Burmese Muslims as worst form of terrorism and genocide, Doctor alkindi said that our double talk, disunity and farness from Quran and Sunnah has brought us at the brink of disaster and today despite having more than 50 countries, we are forced to watch our innocent brothers and sisters being butchered by Buddhist terrorists in Myanmar.
As muslims in Burma are facing existional threat, no one in the international community from USA to Europe and china to Brazil seems concerned. This criminal silence of the international community is actually facilitating the genocide of Rohengiya Muslims. Even though many good steps have been taken by Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, turkey, Malaysia and Indonesia in this regard but Muslim Ummah needs to show more concern and should take effective steps to ensure the safety of these oppressed Muslims of Burma,he said.
He stressed that the holy month of Ramadan is coming and we all should strengthen our links with Quran and Sunnah during this holy month.
