Srinagar – The University of Kashmir today held a condolence meeting to mourn the sad demise of Professor A H Tak who passed away yesterday.
The meeting was chaired by Prof Talat Ahmad Vice chancellor Kashmir University who described Prof Tak as an able scholar, a wonderful teacher, a generous and caring human being.
Prof Taks dedication to work was commendable said VC recalling his interaction with the deceased during his visit to department of English.
The joint condolence meeting remembered the outstanding contributions of Prof Tak as Head, Department of English, dean Faculty of Arts and especially the love he showered on his colleagues and students with affection for which the speakers said he will always be remembered always.
The University fraternity expressed their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family as well. Deans of the faculties, heads of the departments , Registrar KU, office bearers of KUTA, KUOA, KUMSA and members of the teaching and non teaching faculty were present.
