SRINAGAR- The 2023 Srinagar Football Premier League continued on Wednesday, June 21, with two Round 3 matches played at Synthetic Turf TRC.
In the first match, Syed Tajudin FC went head-to-head against Downtown Heroes FC at 4:00 PM. Hafiz Pathan gave the Heroes the lead in the first half, before Imad doubled the scoreline in 39th minute. Shahid Wani then added the third goal in 49th minute. Hafiz Pathan scored his second in 74th minute to make the score 4-0 in favour of the Downtown Heroes. Afreen Parray of the Heroes was awarded man of the match.
In the second game of the day, a 7:00 PM kick off, Sports Council Football Academy locked horns with Real Kashmir FC (Reserves). The first half ended 0-0. However, SCFA took the lead through Rizwan in the 63rd minute and the team managed to hold on to their slender lead till final whistle. Rizwan of SCFA was awarded man of the match.
The 2023 Srinagar Football Premier League will continue on Thursday, June 22, with two matches scheduled.
At 4:00 PM, AG’s Office XI will take on Kashmir Maharaja FC. While in the 7:00 PM kick off, Jhelum FC will play JK Bank Academy.
