Srinagar- A policeman on Tuesday was mowed down by a truck in Soibugh area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
28-year-old Ishfaq Majeed of Paimus village was critically injured after his bike was hit by a truck (JK015A- 7018) in Banpora village of Soibugh on Tuesday morning, reports said. The injured policeman, reports said, was removed to the SKIMS Bemina hospital for treatment. However, the doctors there declared him dead.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
